• Have the purchasing power to buy wines for a small wine bar.
• Handle inventory, ordering, inventory, enter Purchase orders and invoices in our system.
• Properly handle cash, do report.
• properly open and close premise
• maintain clean work environment
• do Facebook postings, Instagram, etc. promotions on a weekly basis
• maintain and be able to type up wine lists, cheese menu and more.
• create wine tasting flights
• programming and maintaining menu items in POS system, use of POS system
• be able to use slicer to plate up own cheese and charcuterie plates
• type up, print up, maintain menu with the use of Excel, Word and Adobe.
• Start time typically 4pm Wednesday - Saturday until close, 31 hours weekly, with additional hours available at other location if chosen.
• be able to cashier, close out tabs on POS system
• Engaging in friendly conversation  - many regulars
• Making simple drinks and pour wines
• Party set up - work in conjunction with event party planner
• leader, trustworthy, able to lead and take occasional direction
• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest, washing glassware
• Milwaukee Bartender License required within 30 days of hire.
• WSET a plus, Sommelier Level I
